Download and install the latest version of the Asus BIOS updater program. Click the "Product" drop down menu and choose "Motherboard." Choose the series and model of your Asus motherboard from the corresponding drop down menus.
Check through the list of available BIOS versions, and click the link for the latest version.
Take note of the location where you download the file.
Open the Asus BIOS updater program you installed earlier.
Press Window Key R to access the “RUN” command window.
Then type “msinfo32” to bring up your computer’s System Information log.
You might be able to get the information by entering the serial number of the PC on a Web site, but when it comes to flashing your BIOS you need to be 100 percent accurate and the information on the Web site could be incorrect.
